This is an alternative way to prepare students who require an English qualification in order to enter University.When are the exams?Cambridge exams in Malta take place every month and applications must be made 5 - 6 weeks before the IELTS exam dates, which you can find at the bottom of the page. However, the local exam centre may not have any places left for new exam applicants. This is beyond our control and availability will be checked before your booking is confirmed.When do the courses take place?The IELTS courses run throughout the year.What does IELTS cover?IELTS tests the complete range of English language skills which will commonly be encountered by students when studying or training in the medium of English. All candidates take the same Listening and Speaking Modules. There is an option of either Academic or General Training Reading and Writing Modules. The Academic module is suitable for candidates planning to undertake higher education study. The General Training module is suitable for candidates planning to undertake non academic training or work experience, or for immigration purposes.Timetable for IELTS:Monday to Friday09:00 to 10:30 Break 11:00 to 12:30 (General English) Class size – maximum 12 students (in the morning) 13:00 to 14:30 (IELTS focus) Class size – maximum 8 students This course is available all year round.
