Unlike all the other blogs, which normally start on a positive note, today I have to start this page by paying tribute to the King of Pop, who passed away in the early hours of this morning leaving the rest of the world in shock.  Rest in peace Michael Jackson!

And now it's time to move on...

It’s that time of year again! The Elanguest Roof Barbecue is only a few hours away and we’re so looking forward to it! Last year we had a whale of a time…singing, dancing, mixing and of course, eating the delicious food prepared by Mary, Rose, Simon, Stephen and Joe. It’s also a great opportunity to get to know each other (especially our students) in a more relaxed and fun environment. I remember that last year most students were just staring in awe on seeing their teachers, who normally look so serious and professional in the classroom, singing and dancing to the latest tunes!

I would also like to take this opportunity to wish the very best of luck to one of our teachers, Samira, who will be going back home this weekend. It’s been a privilege to work with you Sam; you’re an excellent teacher and a great colleague! We’ll miss you and we wish you the very best of luck for your future!!
