Cambridge IELTS - International English Language Testing System

The Cambridge IELTS exam tests students from Elementary level onwards. This is an alternative way to prepare students who require an English qualification in order to enter University.


When are the exams?

Cambridge exams in Malta take place every month and applications must be made 5 - 6 weeks before the IELTS exam dates, which you can find at the bottom of the page. However, the local exam centre may not have any places left for new exam applicants. This is beyond our control and availability will be checked before your booking is confirmed.

When do the courses take place?

The IELTS courses run throughout the year.

What does IELTS cover?

IELTS tests the complete range of English language skills which will commonly be encountered by students when studying or training in the medium of English. All candidates take the same Listening and Speaking Modules. There is an option of either Academic or General Training Reading and Writing Modules. The Academic module is suitable for candidates planning to undertake higher education study.

The Cambridge IELTS Course can either be taken as a morning only (3 hours per day) or as an intensive (4.5 hours per day) course leading to the IELTS exam which is held in Malta.

Morning Only (IELTS Academic - Standard)
Monday to Friday: Lessons: 09:00 to 12:30
Morning and Afternoon Course (IELTS Academic - Intensive)
Monday to Friday: Lessons: 13:00 - 14:30
